Many people/companies ask me whether they should go for a workgroup or domain model. My answer is that it depends on what you need. Some of my guidelines to give you an answer are the following:

  1. If security is not an issues in the office, and you have less than 10 computers, I would go with a workgroup model.
  2. If you have more than 5 computers and need security and automation in setup of the computers, the answer is domain.
  3. If you need a collaboration tool for your business I would tend towards having a domain.
  4. Make sure that you have a computer consultant that are familiar with the differences in the models and can help you

I don't have any parts in stock except for a few parts that can be used in an emergency. The reason is very simple.

  • I can not have everything available.
  • You save money on parts.
  • I save money on not having to keep things in stock
  • we both save time on paper work.

If you need parts/computers, I will find what you are looking for and send you a link which contains everything you need. All you have to do is:

  • Pay me for my research time
  • Pay for the parts and they will be shipped to you.
  • Pay me for the time to assemble them if you want me to do the job.

Here are two examples of computers/lists.
